Nancy has enjoyed many successes, as well as endured the inevitable setbacks inherent within any life cycle. Through all the ups and the downs, however, she has never relented in her lifelong study of the performing arts, and she has always maintained her pursuit to be a talented and accomplished writer. She remembers always that writing provides her an unparalleled satisfaction and the most rewarding feelings, knowing no greater satisfaction than that which comes by completing any writing masterpiece.
While watching her first theatrical performance as a child, Nancy was mesmerized by the scenes, sequences, and dialogue of the characters. It moved her so much that she immediately realized she was destined to participate in performance and ultimately the writing of the scenes that brought those human characters to life. Achieving this goal, she would come to learn, mandated that she overcome mountains of obstacles, many she didn't realize she faced.
HiCaliber Horse Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and responsible placement of horses. We are committed to supporting owners and the community through education, networking for affordable resources and the establishment of meaningful relationships with local shelters.
The organization was founded by Michelle Cochran, a career Animal Control Officer, and is led by a skilled team of professionals. We are adamantly transparent, even while discussing issues that may be uncomfortable for some. Rescue work isn't always rainbows and butterflies; tough choices have to be made and sometimes we have to pick the lesser of two evils. We believe in the "big picture" mentality and encourage a progressive approach to rescue.
Skydog Sanctuary has locations in Malibu and Calabasas California as well as our 9000 acre ranch near Bend Oregon.
Sky Dog Ranch is a forever home for wild mustangs who have ended up in horrible and dangerous situations - at kill pens, at auctions, in unloving homes where they have often been starved and neglected. The horses here represent so many different aspects of the mustang issue, once rounded up by the Bureau of Land Management only to slip through the cracks and end up without the most basic care and affection.
All the wild horses here are treated with the utmost kindness and respect and we leave in peace the ones who want to be left alone and give others the love and compassion that they have not experienced from people before.
Kitty Devore Rescue Network is a rescue group with 501(c)(3) status. We are comprised of dedicated volunteer rescue workers devoted to the networking, rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming of the cats and kittens currently housed within Devore Shelter in the city of Muscoy in San Bernardino County, California.
Each day we work diligently to coordinate rescue efforts for the cats and kittens unfortunate enough to be admitted to the Devore Shelter. Through the use of social networking, we work to gain exposure for each of them as a means of recruiting foster families who can care for them temporarily until a more permanent home can be found or adopters who will commit to giving them the lifelong, loving home they deserve.
